By using Eden Fonts you agree to these terms.
The app
Eden Fonts is made by Eden Apps. Downloading it grants you a licence to use it on the devices your Apple Account allows. The licence is personal to you and cannot be transferred.
The typefaces
The six typefaces in Eden Fonts are original work, and remain the property of Eden Apps.
What you may do: use them inside the app to make whatever you like, including work you sell. Cards, prints, invitations, labels, logos, listings, all of it. No extra licence is needed and no credit is required.
With the unlock, you may also install the typefaces on your own devices and export their font files, and use the files on your own devices and in your own work, again including work you sell.
What you may not do: pass the font files on to anyone else, sell them, give them away, host them, bundle them inside another product, or offer them as fonts anywhere, whether alone or under another name. Nor may you sell the lettering as a substitute for the typefaces, for example an alphabet pack of every letter exported one by one. That is the same thing as reselling the fonts.
In short: what you make with them is yours; the typefaces stay ours.
Eden Fonts Pro: subscribe or unlock
Eden Fonts is free to download, and writing a card in any of the six faces, printing it, and saving it as a PDF or a picture at true size are free. Eden Fonts Pro adds two things: installing the faces on your device, and exporting their font files. There are two ways to have it.
Subscribe, monthly or yearly, through the App Store. A subscription adds every face added to the collection for as long as it stays active. It renews automatically at the price and length you chose, until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Manage or cancel any time in Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ Subscriptions on your device, or from Manage Subscription inside the app once one is running; cancel at least 24 hours before renewal or it charges again for another term.
Unlock once, a single payment tied to your Apple Account, for the six faces Eden Fonts ships with today. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. It does not include a face added to the collection after you bought it.
Restore Purchases, in More, brings back either one on another device signed into the same Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policy, not by us.
Your work
Whatever you write in Eden Fonts belongs to you. We never see it, because it never leaves your device unless you print it or share it yourself.
What we do not promise
Eden Fonts is supplied as it is. We work hard to keep it correct, but we cannot guarantee that it suits every purpose or is free of faults. As far as the law permits, we accept no liability for loss arising from its use, including work lost if a device fails. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Printing
Cards print, and export as PDFs, at true size. How a card finally comes out depends on your printer, your paper and your print shop's settings, which are outside our control.
Changes
These terms may change as the app grows. The date at the top shows when they last did.
Governing law
Texas law governs these terms, setting aside any conflict of law rules that would point to the laws of another place. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Texas, United States.
Nothing here takes away rights your own local consumer law gives you, and purchases made through the App Store remain subject to Apple's terms as well.
