Terms and Conditions — Eden Fonts

Last updated: 26 August 2026

By using Eden Fonts you agree to these terms. They are written plainly on purpose.

The app

Eden Fonts is made by Eden Apps, the trading name of Eden Schlegel. Downloading it gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it on the devices allowed by your Apple Account.

The typefaces

The 106 typefaces in Eden Fonts are original work, drawn by hand, and remain the property of Eden Apps.

What you may do: use them inside the app to make whatever you like, including work you sell. Cards, prints, stickers, posters, logos, listings, all of it. No extra licence is needed and no credit is required.

What you may not do: extract, copy, redistribute, resell or give away the font files themselves, or make them available to other software, whether alone or inside another product. Nor may you sell the lettering as a substitute for the typefaces, for example an alphabet pack of every letter exported one by one. That is the same thing as reselling the fonts.

If you install the typefaces on your own Mac, iPhone or iPad so other apps can use them, that is fine and it is what the installer is for. They are installed for you, on your own machines. Passing the files on to anyone else is the part that is not allowed.

In short: what you make with them is yours; the typefaces stay ours.

The unlock

Eden Fonts opens with twenty six of the typefaces ready to write with, and all 106 there to look through. One purchase unlocks the rest: the other eighty typefaces, printing and PDF export at true size, copying your lettering as a sticker or an animated GIF, more than one piece of lettering on a page, photos, GIFs and the drawn stickers, your own paper sizes, keeping pages on the device, and installing the typefaces on your own machines. Saving a page as a picture needs no purchase.

It is one payment, it does not renew, and it is tied to your Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their own policy, not by us.

Your work

Whatever you write and design in Eden Fonts belongs to you. We never see it, because it never leaves your device unless you share it yourself.

What we do not promise

The app is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it correct, but we cannot promise it will suit every purpose or be free of faults. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use, including work lost if a device fails. Keep your own copies of anything important.

Printing

Pages export as PDFs at true size. How a page finally comes out depends on your printer, your paper and your print shop's settings, which are outside our control.

Changes

These terms may change as the app grows. The date at the top shows when they last did.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us belongs in the state or federal courts sitting in Texas.

Nothing here takes away rights your own local consumer law gives you, and purchases made through the App Store remain subject to Apple's terms as well.
