Local Work Search Log keeps your work search on your iPhone or iPad. There is no account and no sign in. Nothing you type is sent anywhere, because the app contains no code for sending it.
Local Work Search Log is made by Eden Apps, a sole proprietor based in Texas, USA. The same text is inside the app, under Settings, Privacy.
At a glance
| Question | For Local Work Search Log |
|---|---|
| What stays on your device | Your work search activities, your applications with their contacts and dated notes, your reminders, and your settings. |
| What leaves it | Nothing you write. The app has no network code at all, so there is no path for it to travel. |
| The one exception | Buying or restoring Pro goes through Apple's own StoreKit. Apple handles the payment and tells the app one thing: whether this Apple Account owns Pro. |
| Who else is involved | Apple, for that purchase alone. No analytics company, no advertiser, and no service of ours. A file you export goes only where you send it. |
Your work search stays on your device
Local Work Search Log has no account and no sign in. There are no analytics, ads or trackers inside it, and nothing you type is sent anywhere. Applications, contacts, notes and your log stay on the iPhone or iPad in your hand.
Device backups
If device backups are turned on (iCloud, a Mac or a PC), Local Work Search Log's data rides along inside them like any other app's. Those backups belong to Apple's system, and Local Work Search Log has no part in them.
Files you create
Your CSV files, PDFs and backup files are created right here. Each one travels only where you send it with the share sheet, for example to Files, Mail or AirDrop. When the share sheet closes, the app removes its temporary copy.
Reminders
Reminders are notifications scheduled on this device. You can hide company names so they do not show on your lock screen.
App lock
iOS runs the lock with your passcode, Face ID or Touch ID. Local Work Search Log never sees your face data, fingerprint or passcode. While the lock is on, the app is covered in the app switcher, and everything in it, including open forms and the share sheet, stays covered until you unlock.
Links
Links to job postings open in your web browser. Local Work Search Log itself does not load web pages.
Purchases
Pro is paid for through Apple, and Apple processes the payment. Local Work Search Log asks the App Store just one thing: whether your Apple Account owns Pro. We never see your card, your name or your email address.
No tracking
There is no analytics code and no advertising code in this app, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about your work search is sent to us, and we never receive it. We do not sell data. You can check this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and everything except buying or restoring Pro keeps working.
Children
Nothing is collected about anyone using this app, at any age.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes with it, and anything new that uses the network will be described here before it ships.
