Givebook keeps your giving ledger on this iPhone or iPad. You don't make an account, and you never sign in. Nothing about what you gave is sent anywhere.

What the app keeps
Your gifts, recipients, causes, goals, income entries, recurring gifts, charity trips, notes and any letter photos you add are stored by the app on this device. Your ledger is part of the device backup that iOS makes to iCloud or a Mac, as it does for most apps.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you send it. The app contains no network code, no analytics and no advertising. It sends no data to Eden Apps, and we don't sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising. When you export a CSV, a PDF or a backup, you choose where the file goes.
Photos and camera
Choosing a photo uses the system photo picker, so the app only receives the photo you pick. The camera is used only after you tap Take a Photo. Either way, the photo is kept with its gift on this device as a resized copy that leaves out the photo's location and other embedded details.
Purchases
Apple takes the payment for Pro in the App Store. All Givebook learns is a yes or no: whether this Apple Account owns Pro. We never see your card, your name or your email address.
No tracking
There is no analytics code and no advertising code in this app, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about what you give, or who you give it to, is sent to us, and we never receive it. We do not sell data. You can check this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and everything except buying or restoring Pro keeps working.
Deleting your data
Delete a gift, recipient or trip by swiping it away, or delete the app to remove the whole ledger from this device. A device backup you made earlier still holds a copy until that backup is replaced or deleted. To keep your own copy, save a backup before you delete the app.
Children
Nothing is collected about anyone using this app, at any age.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes with it, and anything new that uses the network will be described here before it ships.
