Local Grocery List keeps your shopping lists, your pantry, and your stores on your iPhone or iPad. There is no account, and nothing you add is sent anywhere.

The short version
Local Grocery List has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The app contains no code that sends your information over the internet.
What is stored
Your lists, the items on them, your pantry, your stores and their aisle order live only inside Local Grocery List, on this iPhone or iPad. A device backup you make with iCloud or on a computer includes this app's data, as it does for most apps.
Prices
A price is only ever one you type in. The app does not look prices up anywhere, so a total is an estimate from your own figures, not from a shop.
Files you make
The spreadsheet and the backup file are built right here. Each one stays put until you share it or save it somewhere yourself. The backup is not locked with a password, so keep it somewhere private.
Sharing a list
A list can be sent as plain text or as a CSV file, through whichever app you choose in the share sheet. That sending is done by iOS and by the app you pick, not by Local Grocery List, and there is no shared list on a server anywhere.
Purchases
You buy Pro from Apple, in the App Store. Apple takes care of payment, and the app confirms your purchase with Apple's StoreKit. Your card and payment details never reach the app.
No tracking
There is no analytics code and no advertising code in this app, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about what you buy is sent to us, and we never receive it. We do not sell data. You can check this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and everything keeps working, except buying or restoring Pro.
Deleting
Deleting a list deletes its items. Removing the app erases everything it stored here, so save a backup beforehand if you will want your lists later.
Children
Nothing is collected about anyone using this app, at any age.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes with it, and anything new that uses the network will be described here before it ships.
