Local Home Inventory keeps your list of what you own, and the photos that prove it, on your iPhone or iPad. There is no account, and nothing you add is sent anywhere.
Local Home Inventory is made by Eden Apps, a sole proprietor based in Texas, USA. The same text is inside the app, under More, Privacy.

The short version
Local Home Inventory has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The app contains no code that sends your information over the internet.
What is stored
Your homes, items, notes, and the proof images you attach live only inside Local Home Inventory, on this iPhone or iPad. A device backup you make with iCloud or on a computer includes this app's data, as it does for most apps.
Your photos
When you choose photos, iOS shows its own picker and gives the app only the photos you pick. If you choose to look through a date range instead, the app asks for access to your photo library, and you can allow some photos or all of them. Either way, Apple's Vision framework looks at them right here on the device to suggest which ones show belongings. When looking through a date range, photos kept only in iCloud are skipped, because the app does not download them. Photos you pick yourself are handed to the app by iOS, which may fetch them from iCloud first. Suggestions are forgotten when you start over, unless you attach a photo to an item.
Proof images
When you attach a photo as proof, the app keeps a resized copy. The copy does not include the photo's location or other embedded details. The date it was taken is kept with the item, so it can appear in your claim packet.
Camera
Local Home Inventory turns the camera on only when you choose Take a photo, and it saves just the picture you decide to keep.
Files you make
Local Home Inventory builds the spreadsheet, the claim packet, and the backup file right here. Each one stays put until you share it or save it somewhere yourself. The backup file is not locked with a password, so keep it somewhere private.
Purchases
You buy Pro from Apple, in the App Store. Apple takes care of payment, and the app confirms your purchase with Apple's StoreKit. Your card and payment details never reach the app.
No tracking
There is no analytics code and no advertising code in this app, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing about what you own is collected, by us or by anyone else. We do not sell data. You can check this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and everything keeps working, the photo reading included, except buying or restoring Pro. The one thing you will miss is a photo that lives only in iCloud, because the app never downloads one.
Deleting
Deleting an item deletes its proof images. Removing the app erases everything it stored here, so save a backup beforehand if you will want your list later.
Children
Nothing is collected about anyone using this app, at any age.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes with it, and anything new that uses the network will be described here before it ships.
