Medical Bills keeps your bills, insurance statements, payments, calls and scans on your iPhone or iPad. There is no account, and nothing you add is sent anywhere.

The short version
Medical Bills has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. The app contains no code that sends your information over the internet.
What is stored
Your care entries, bills, insurance statements, payments, calls, notes, and scans are kept inside Medical Bills on this iPhone or iPad. The app does not store them in iCloud, and it does not read from or write to Apple Health. A device backup you make with iCloud or on a computer includes this app's data, as it does for most apps.
Scans and photos
When you scan a paper, the iOS document scanner uses the camera and hands the app only the pages you keep. When you choose a photo, iOS shows its own picker and hands the app only the photo you pick. The app saves a resized copy that leaves out the photo's location and other embedded details.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled by iOS and never leave the device. Unless you turn on details in More, they do not name the care or the provider, because reminders can appear while your screen is locked.
Files you make
The spreadsheet and the PDF summary are made right here. Each one stays put until you share it or save it somewhere yourself. After that, it is handled by the app or the person you gave it to.
Purchases
You buy Pro from Apple, in the App Store. Apple takes care of payment, and the app confirms your purchase with Apple's StoreKit. Your card and payment details never reach the app.
Deleting
Deleting a care entry deletes its bills, statements, payments, calls, and scans. Removing the app erases everything it stored.
No tracking
There is no analytics code and no advertising code in this app, and no tracking of any kind. Nothing you enter is sent to us, and we never receive it. We do not sell data. You can check this yourself: turn on Airplane Mode and everything keeps working, the match check and reminders included, except buying or restoring Pro.
Children
Nothing is collected about anyone using this app, at any age.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes with it, and anything new that uses the network will be described here before it ships.
